Angel Face

I won't go into why I was experiencing some fear prior to my Angel sighting, as it's a long story. I had not been sleeping well due to it.
One night, I woke up abruptly, knowing I was supposed to sit up, and watch the crack in the door leading to the hall. The door was open about 18 inches, or so-and there was a nightlight on in the hall.
Something began to move very slowly from the right to the left. It was from the floor to the ceiling~ I eventually realized it was a face! A huge face! I saw the eye-then nose and mouth. It was definitely a masculine face-stocky-rugged and even appeared to have stubble. I experienced no fear at all-only curiosity. He shone with such a brilliance-like nothing I have ever seen. It was bright, but didn't hurt the eyes in the least. The light was like Mother-of Pearl-subtle colors moving slowly-so beautiful!! It filled the room.
Telepathically , this being told me to not be afraid~that he would watch over me and my family~and that we were loved very much. Then, he moved slowly off to the left, and was gone. I sat there for I don't know how long, hoping he would come back . Then I became aware of my little dog sitting next to me, wagging her tail, and staring at the door! She had seen him, too! We sat there, for a while, just taking in what had just happened-then eventually slipped into a peaceful sleep.
My fear was gone after that. I can remember every detail about him-even after 30 years-I wish he'd come back for a visit!!!
